Friends of WGST
The Friends of Women and Gender Studies are people who support the University of Colorado’s Women and Gender Studies Program. Our Friends are important to us in these tight budget times to help us stay afloat and to celebrate the demonstrated leadership of women and men in the study of gender, race, ethnicity, class, abilities, sexuality, nation and global context in higher education at the University of Colorado. In November 2004, we celebrated our 30th Anniversary. As we look forward to the next 30 years, what better time to invest in Women and Gender Studies. Our Friends goals include:
- Supporting community involvement in Women and Gender Studies events that honor and empower women.
- Providing scholarships to students
- Fostering discussion of issues affecting women’s and men’s lives.
Celebrate Women and Gender Studies by becoming a Friend to:
